From New York City, or NYC airports

Drive East on the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) to exit #62 Nicolls Road (Rt.97). Go North on Nicolls Road for 7.5 miles (following the Hospital "H" signs) then turn right (East) at the marked "South Entrance" to the University. Proceed for a distance of .8 miles, passing the hospital entrance & passing the parking garage and then turn left at the marked LIHTI entrance.

From New England states via the Bridgeport/Port Jefferson Ferry in Bridgeport Connecticut

As you exit the ferry on to Route 25A, in Port Jefferson, you turn right (West) on 25A and proceed 3.4 miles to Nicolls Road (Rt. 97). Go left (South) on Nicolls Road 1.6 miles to the marked "East Campus Entrance" to the University. Turn left (East) into that entrance and proceed just .1 mile and then turn right at the marked LIHTI entrance.

Flying In

If you're flying in to the JFK, LaGuardia or Newark airports, directions to the B&Z site are as above for New York City

You may wish to consider flying to Long Island's Islip Airport which is located just about 17 miles South of the B&Z site. Islip is serviced by some of the major airlines (particularly Southwest Airline) and it provides a way to avoid the usual L.I. Expressway traffic. Directions - Islip airport exits on to Route 454, Veterans Memorial Highway. Turn left (Southeast) onto Rt.454 and proceed 2.1 miles to merge into Rt. 27 East,(Sunrise Highway Eastbound) Continue approximately .7 miles then turn right in to the entrance for Rt 97 Northbound, (Nicolls Road Northbound). Proceed North on Nicolls Road 11.4 miles (following hospital "H" signs), to the marked "South Entrance" to the university, Turn right (East) into that entrance and proceed .8 miles passing the hospital entrance, passing the parking garage and the turning left in to the marked
